I hear ya bud. I have been looking for the "perfect" GT500 for almost a month now with very little luck. Most dealers wont budge on the price and they just sit and collect dust. Sad

Your dad is a very considerate guy. He's saving it for somebody else to enjoy at a later date and it may not be you.

Mine already has 30k miles on it and its not my DD.Im going to enjoy it and not worry about later on. Who knows, in a couple of years there may be a performance car Czar and then........

I realized my dream at 52! Our GT 500 is a daily driver--most of the time wife drives it to school. She's the fastest kindergarten teacher in the county! Don't know where in the country you are shopping, but CarMax has 16 of them from 39 to 42. Town & Country Ford in Evansville, IN has a white/black 09 and a red/white 08 used sitting in front of the show room. Town & Country in Nashville will bend over backwards to sell you your dream car--ask for Jamie Lyons! He's THE MAN!
