GT500KR: Can you afford to fix this car?
#21
there are 2 KR's out here in Hawaii.
1 car is a 2008 model with under 10 miles for $120,000 and some change
the other is just shy of $80,000
and they've both been there for months since I first noticed them. Pretty sure that 08 has been there since Spring of 08. GT500's sell pretty easily out here for about $40k. I see them almost on a daily basis. Never seen a KR outside the showroom floor though.
Shame that such a "super" mustang will never see the light of day. Good thing us "lesser" Stangs keep up appearances.

Truth be told, when I was looking for the Shelby that I just recently purchased, I did look into some KR's. The 3 dealers down here in North Houston, have 9 KR's combined. Took their shipments just a few weeks into production. Haven't sold. I walked in and asked about a Black KR with black matte stripes. The sticker was 91k. The salesman, just from me asking, dropped it to 67,500. Still wasn't enough to make me want it over a regular GT 500. It is sad about the KR. I agree with Tylus. One dealer has them just sitting in the dirt and rain. Has about an inch of dirt caked on all 4 KR that they had. Showroom floor for something that will actually sell, I suppose.
