Sounds like a clear bra is the thing to do with a new Shelby. I have a 2010 and was prepared to have one put on but was wondering how the clear bra material works over the decals or stripes that are on the car. Seems like the stripes are raised and putting the clear bra material over it would cause a problem. Anyway I was hoping someone would be able to help me with this.

I just had mind done...he went 30" up the hood (above the vents)...the entire front and down the fenders to match the hood edge. It looks great and the stripes are covered and the edges dont show. PersonallyI would never go without it .

thanks for the reply. so was yours a 2010 shelby. and what about the decal stripes. Does that cause a problem. Seems like it would leave a gap where the film met the decal Pleas let me know

Mine is an 08...found it in a guys garage with 558 miles on it...so I want to keep it in pristine condition...as far as the edges...the installer cut them in...I just now waxed and buffed the film out and it looks awesome...I have it on my 06 GT since it was new...not a mark one anywhere...while all the other non-filmed cars take a beating...

have the clear bra on my complete front end (complete front bumper, hood (up to the vents), front half of each fender, headlights & fod lights.
