Trying to find a Black GT500
Hey guys, I'm trying to find an 07-09 GT500 in black with less than 20k miles and for $35k or less. Must be black. I check autotrader, craigslist, ebay, and cars.com atleast twice a day. What I am looking for is something I could be missing that isnt advertised nationally so if anyone runs across anything local i'd really appreciate the lead. Thanks

Im 34. This is what I did:
I wanted to get a 500 or Super Snake but decided why not just buy a GT platform and de-badge everything. Build it into a widebody SuperSnake clone with semi-gloss black paint and 15" black stock car rims and fat RWL tires. I can go down Shelby's list of parts and check em off one by one and build it for 20K+ instead of 80K to Shelby. I want a top handling, fast breaking, high speed, high performance machine. It doesnt have to be a Shelby. $13,000 for car. $10,000-$15,000 after. Its a Clone. And I love it. Here in Hollywood people take pictures of it all the time when I drive bye. Its pretty hilarious :O
Oh because I went this way I own it and insurance is even better.
Just wanted to jump in. Im new as of this week. Good luck with the Mustang search bud

Haha I dunnoo I guess I was trying to emphasize how at 34 I'd rather save money doing a build. Although building any car is expensive I can still save $ by going this route. I'm finishing a movie screenplay and starting a clothing line that is almost finished with trademark litigation. Had no idea if I could throw a new spin on things for you. Just thought I'd throw my personal experience out there . Goodluck with the search! Prob difficult to find and xpensive huh
