Okay... I'm back. Unfortunately, I'm an idiot and didn't know they only do one factory tour per day, and I missed it by about 10 minutes. Oh well, I live nearby, I'll just have to go back. But the Museum was awesome. As promised, I took a bunch of pics. Rather than bog down this thread with a few dozen images, I just made an album. CHECK OUT THE SHELBY MUSEUM

The Shelby Museum is awesome! I was in Vegas this March and we took the tour. My wife and I rented a Viper, and drove all over the place that day. One of our first stops was to the Shelby Museum. We did the factory tour, which is pretty cool. I was blown away by many of the cars there. I thought it was pretty cool that he has the GM and Chrysler cars there as well. Many people forget about them.

was it extra crowded with the drag races going on next door?

Looks like the weather was great. Every time I've gone it's boiling hot and I have to drive with the top closed.

No, it wasn't crowded at all. The area was bustling with the race activity but the Shelby HQ was not too bad.
