Default Got a baseline (stock) dyno run today...

Her best run was, of course, her first run @ 517.14HP / 490.39 lb/ft. Torque remained basically constant through all 3 runs. Power dropped off as she heated up, but not drastically. Torque is everywhere pretty much from idle to redline; almost table flat, too! HP builds all the way up to redline as well.

Run 1: 517.14HP / 490.39 lb/ft @ 9.67psi
Run 2: 513.60HP / 490.84 lb/ft @ 8.91psi
Run 3: 508.40HP / 489.27 lb/ft @ 8.95psi

Atmospheric was 62 degrees F, 41% humidity, 30.2" Hg, Altitude (I'm estimating) 650'.

I can scan and attach the graph later if anyone's interested in seeing it. This was bone stock. I was having subframe connectors installed and went ahead and had them dyno her for a baseline. Since I'll be installing the FRPP 750HP Whipple kit in the next couple weeks, I wanted to see what kind of gains I'm actually gonna be making from it. And yes, I realize different days, different numbers, yada yada yada. I just want a general idea of what I paid for. Although I was very interested in seeing how she's producing her stock output and couldn't find any stock graphs anywhere.

What dyno did you run on?? Just seems the numbers are a bit high considering the stock crank hp is 550...only approx a 6% drivetrain loss...but no matter what that car is going to be a SERIOUS beast!

just saw the edit..Dynojet...

great numbers, my car was dyno tuned on a Mustang Dyno and is at 532rwhp/514rwtq @ 14.2psi with all the modifications you see in my signature...sounds like the newer cars start off much better than the earlier versions.

well you have to figure that the new cars stock is like having a CAI on our cars... Even tho this still seems like a strong car.

Yes definitely on the high end of the scale for a stock car. Equates to 600+ crank hp. Are they SAE or STD numbers?

My stock numbers for my 08 (with 1200 miles on it) was a 16% drivetrain loss...(420 rwhp...divided by 500 stock crank hp)...then I went to work...LOL

I have no idea. But I wouldn't go that far w/ the estimate, as nice as it would be if it were true. Don't forget the atmospheric conditions I listed. It was a wonderful day that day. I suspect the weather will be even cooler (and "nicer") by the time I get it dynoed after the S/C install. If that estimate holds true, she'll probably be calculating over 800HP at the crank! lol

One other thought is that it was dynoed after the subframe connectors and tunnel brace were installed. All the power being wasted trying to twist the chassis is now being sent to the wheels. I could definitely feel a slight increase in pep afterward.

Maybe that is a little high but im not complaining i own a similar car. If it really was that i would be happy that ford underestimated the 550 lol. Was the car heat soaked at all? or was it cold?

No. Heat soak was definitely not an issue. It had been sitting in their garage all day and only started up to be pulled onto the dyno. You could tell it was starting to warm by the drop off in power from run to run. I'm guessing it wouldn't settled in somewhere between 500 - 505 HP.
