Default 65MM vs 63.5MM F.R.P.P. Throttle Body

I have been searching vendors for the best buy, and some list the GT-500 model as a dual bore 63.5MM, and others as a 65MM?????? Is the 65MM just a newer version or something??????

The dual-bore 63.5 mm TB is standard on 2008 Cobra Jet motor. The dual-bore 65 mm TB is standard on the 2010 Cobra Jet motor. Looks like you can buy them now with or without the electronics (sensor and actuator motor).

Thanks for the replies. I'll get the 65MM. I have heard good things about L&M, but understand that the FRPP comes completely assembled and has virtually no driveability issues, just bolt on and go. Obviously, you guys have had good success with the L&M so i will look at it as well. At present i only have the Steeda CAI, 2.68 Pulley, and Steeda tune which made 519 RWHP, obviously very conservative but runs well. I figure a good TB will round it out and give some bling as well. Thanks again.

The stock TB on the gt500 is a 65mm...the L&M is a 66mm...the 65mm begins restricting air at about 14 -15 (according to Brenspeed) lbs of boost...to gain some performance get the high flow plenum with it...I got another .5 lb of boost with just the plenum behind the stock TB...
