The drone was a bit much for me around 2,000 rpm, but they sounded awesome at WOT.

Yes, mine DO drone in the 1800-2000 RPM range (don't ALL Stingers?) but since I don't typically drive at that engine speed I don't care. There have been times that I was cruising in that drone zone and asked the g/f if it bothered her. She loves Stangs and looked at me like I was nutz. Her reply: "It makes your passenger seat get wet."

I've kept both.

Mark, is that Shella's ex-GT500? If it had been a different color, YOU may not have made that deal, my friend. She and I had talked about it for weeks before she sold it. But I'm glad it found a good home!

Nuke, I like your story about the drone. So far it doesn't bother me (or the better half) at all! I was complaining with the stock mufflers that I couldn't hear the engine in cruise.

Yeah, it was Shella's. I'm glad you balked at the color! A mustang is the only car I ever liked in orange. I had been quietly looking for 6 months or so and it was exactly what I was looking for! I have put about 4K miles on it in 7 months and enjoyed every mile!

Sounds very nice! I ended up going with SLP loudmouth's on mine which are to arrive this Thursday so I will be anxious to see how much of a difference it will make. I'm sure it will be loud and that I most likely won't be hearing that supercharger whine anymore but after going from a GT with headers, offroad h pipe and MAC mufflers this Shelby just sounds way to quiet to me.

BTW - I absolutely love the Grabber Orange! I almost ended up with a Grabber Orange/Tungsten stripped car but the dealer had just sold it to another dealer when I found it and wouldn't honor the advertised price anymore. That is one of my favorite colors though.

Thanks abrush! I'd like to hear the difference when you get them on (if you could post a clip). I do like to hear the supercharger tho....
