I'm surprised I'm the first to mention it, but: what do you think?

The creators claim that its performance runs rings around the GT500 according to a chat transcript in the camaro5 forums and I believe it. The only bit of envy I feel is that Magnetic Ride Suspension - I really wish the Shelby had it!

How do the rest of you feel?

Most Chevy boards have it posted and most complain they didn't call it a Z/28! but it is still an ugly camaro!

I didn't read anything there leading me to believe it will run circles around the GT500. Sounds like it will finally keep pace with. The articles says it was aimed to compete with the boss 302. Truth be told, I'm not worried...

I saw one at the Philly Auto Show earlier this month...Didn't really have any info on it but just looked like another ugly Camaro to me, but slightly more aggressive than the Base/SS

And those exhaust tips or whatever you want to call them scream rice. Atrocious

that exhaust is hideous. this car will attempt to keep up with the gt500 and it might succeed, but it certainly wont be better. expected price tag is supposed to start in the $60k range. yet again, ford wins with a better machine for less money.

That's not the GM ZL1, that's the SLP ZL1. The GM ZL1 has 4 exhaust ports like a corvette - see my original link.
