I don't know whether this is possible or desirable, but should I ask for Shelby to include the VIN of my car as well as his signature on the airbag cover? If so - is it even possible?

What's your opinion and why?

See if you can get him to sign like this. I saw a few last summer like this and I like the look.

I wouldn't bother trying to get the full VIN #.
What if he makes an error?

Get a Supersnake upgrade and he will give it the CS number it will come with.

i doubt he would do it anyway. When he does his signings its about how quick he can get them done. I doubt he takes requests.

yeah I HIGHLY Doubt he would do anything special....the guy is getting pretty old and he barely signs his name well enough.. you can tell by looking at the different sigs on peoples stuff and how much variation they have...

I've actually seen a post on another site (I think it was Team Shelby) where someone had him sign the cover & write the VIN number. I remember, because after seeing it I thought how cool that was, because it's now tied to that particular car.

I heard that if you send him your glove box cover he WILL sign it, if its a Shelby.

Well I'm sending in my part to get signed, literally just packaged it up and i'd say he is pretty reasonable about taking requests. I have seen people who sent a disposable camera in and got a picture of him signing their car piece so I would guess a vin # is not that big of a problem.... just speculation though...

Actually I've heard Carroll will sign just about anything as long as you pay the hefty fee to his charity.
This is why I'm NOT getting my Shelby signed. It will eventually be the only one withOUT a signature!
