drop it down low to look good. but still raise it up for those annoying speed bumps and other crappy parking lot entrances
^^^^ That is the really cool thing about the adjustable height control, you can clear obstacles, but still drive low. The other benefit is handling performance is also greatly improved!
Its big differance in ride quality and handling. These new air ride kits are built with performance in mind. A couple years ago Air Ride Technologies car wont the SCCA nationals. It adds about 25-30lbs over the rear wheels. Nothing too crazy.

Our suspension components weigh less than the Ford OEM parts by about 4 pounds per corner. This works out to roughly a 16 pound weight reduction of unsprung mass which equals better ride and handling.
