Default Potential GT500 Owner

My fiance is looking to buy either a '12 GT500 or a '12 SRT-8 Challenger.
He was wanting to know if there are any issues that you guys have run into with your GT500s. And if there is anything great that you guys love about your cars throw that in too. I want him to get a Mustang, but I am pushing more for the 5.0 just because of the price difference.

We are looking to buy in Febuary after we pay off my Mustang and his motorcycle. So we have some time to consider everything.

Oh and it will be a daily driver. So if it is a daily for anyone how does it perform? Is it too much car for every day?

Tanner...GET THE SNAKE!! do you really want to be seen in a SRT??...After having my Snake...and doing a little mod work...there is NOTHING I would rather have...as far as a DD I drive a Toyota beater pickup and keep the cars in the garage...polished and ready for fun miles...

Get the snake ....mine is a daily driver and I have had 0 complaints... Actually I do have a few complaints using as a daily driver... For some reason since driving my gt500 everyday my face has developed a tick from constantly smiling... These cars were made to be driven and enjoyed ... I enjoy mine daily... I want to get a clunker to drive around daily instead I just haven't followed through on it yet as I can't imagine NOT driving my gt500 daily.. Good luck!!! Get the snake!!

Of course get the 2012 GT500...what kind of answer did you think you were going to get on a mustang forum., lol!! Go ask this same question on a Challenger forum and see how many tell you NOT to get the Challenger, lol.

The 2012 GT500 is an awesome car!

Not trying to be ugly, but making sure you understand what to expect. I'd honestly suggest your fiance going and driving both to see which he likes best.

Thanks for the replies guys.
Yeah I think he is sold on the GT500, we can't test drive until we are ready to buy of course.
He can't make up his mind on whether he wants the SVT package or the glass roof though. Do you guys have any opinions on any of this?

Haha yep I'm a girl.
He is drooling over a GT500 we looked at a Kona Blue with a glass roof on Saturday, but if we bought now it would be a little bit of a stretch with all the other payments we have.

Aerbourne, he doesn't like the Boss. I love it, but he wants leather and all the other cool stuff that the GT500 has.
