The only ones that came with a dash plaque, are the cars that went through a Shelby mod shop. Cars that came straight from Ford didn't get 'em.

Actually mine did brand new... But that's just because my dealer ordered it and paid for it for me..

Blacksmoke, I see nothig wrong with the job you did on the signature plaque. You are being too hard on yourself. Anyone who finds fault with you work is probably just
cross-eyed. I am sure there is something more to worry about, so brush that on off, and go on to something to really worry about.
Keep up the good work. Your car looks great. God get-um.

Thx Docmo
After it being on for a year I am happy to say it looks perfect.
You cannot tell at ALL it was not just PERFECTLY lined up.

The clearcoat I used has protected the signature perfectly as well.
I would caution anyone that had the chance to get a hand signed signature from Shelby that decides to protect it with clearcoat to ONLY use this brand and model clear coat. Others have been reported to yellow and, or crack.

I also suggest reading instructions on HOW TO apply the clearcoat completely and follow the directions EXACTLY. The instructions can be found here:
