Need Help on Motorcraft Oil. Important!
So... I had my oil changed today and bought the oil myself just to make sure they used the correct kind.
Now I am questioning whether I SCREWED up or not..
The item number for Motorcraft shows Xo-5w50-QGT. (the o next to the x is an o and NOT a zero i believe)
Now... I did not look at the actual bottles to make sure the 5W-50 was FULL Synthetic or they just gave me a 5W50 synthetic blend that was not FULL synthetic.
The bottles are gone and all i have is the bill of sale with the part number on it.
I looked on Ford's site and when i type in the number it only says motor oil lol.
Here are my questions.
Does Motorcraft even MAKE a 5W-50 that is NOT FULL synthetic?
And.... can anyone tell my if the kind I bought based on the item number in fact IS FULL synthetic?
I want to make sure I bought the right oil because it says to use full synthetic in the GT500.
Thanks!

As per your part # referenced, it's full synthetic. I don't think they make a synthectic blend in 5w-50.

But even if they did, you'd be fine for 5k to 7k miles of "normal" driving. Of course, I'm still in the "non-GT500" mindset...
