Default 2013 Owners: Warning Peeling Paint

If anyone here recently picked up a 2013 GT500, do me a favor and check your brake fluid level.

Odds are that it is overfilled, and is probably dripping onto the painted surface beneath the resevoir.

If it's not wiped off quickly you can expect to have this:

Damnit. I thought this was the result of a small crash the 2nd week I had the GT. The body shop sprayed the spot but I just noticed I have a new spot which I still assumed was a leak they hadn't fixed.

Tough to compare in that angle cause it looks almost like a hole in the metal, but yea, looks similar.

Paint just sort of chips/peels away when rubbed.

Just overfilled as far as I can tell. Others Ibe talked to said theirs were well above max.

I've been cautioned about the importance of not contaminating brake fluid as well, so avoid any type of tool that's soiled when removing excess fluid.

Have you contacted the dealer about repairing the paint?
