Wow I cannot believe it checks out as Shelby, so many red flags in those pictures. I just hope you are not paying 12k for a car the same as yours. Good luck though, keep us updated.

Yeah it really does not look right ., look inside the headlights too.. They should have svt stamp in them
.. If it is a gt500 (i still say if) there has been allot of changes done to it for some reason? Accident? Dunno..

Yeah there's a lot of subtle things that don't look right with this car. Like I thought the only year that the GT500 had the SHELBY lettering on the trunk lid all the way to the left was in 2007...that in 2008 the SHELBY lettering was clear across the back of the trunk lid. Then the missing badge on the front grill, the cobras facing the wrong way. As for the side marker lights above the cobra emblems, that might be something that the EU forces Ford to do.

Also look at the door sills. Those should say SVT if they were stock GT500 and not MUSTANG. If this is somehow a clone, that might be something overlooked easily.

mmmm i'm suspisous like hell about this..
might give it a wide berth and forget it..i mean i have a mint gt that i rarely drive and certainly never open up..
we'll see..if it was just up the road i'de have sorted it by now.
