Well, I guess I meant to say that it seems to me that their depreciation is less than other models of mustang.
I personally never looked at mine as an investment. It's always been meant to me for one thing and that's just having a blast. I hadnt driven mine for close to a week so last night I took it and tore up the town for about 30 mins.
Damn I love this car!!

Here's the real question:
How many dollars of my "original investment" will I lose on my supercharged GT when I sell it.... as compared to how many dollars I'll lose if I had bought a GT 500 and then sold it after the same period of time? I think the issue is dollars to dollars lost. Tax, licenses and insurance costs should be figured into what it cost you to own each car after say 7 years. Unless you are very rich, or don't care where your money goes... it's all a cost of owning either car. Of course, some people are simply not happy unless the can say I own a .....! As for me, it's about the performance and the look of the car rather than having a car other people don't have!
Here's a Fuel Injected '61 Corvette I restored! It's won awards! Is it a original car, or not? Experts cannot tell! So what's the point!
This is not a original Colt Revolver! There are many ways to tell the difference. The most important way to tell is it doesn't break fairly often when shooting it like original Colts do! LOL!
Hot rodding was started by guys who couldn't afford Ferraris! The point is, a great car, a great gun, a great dog, or even a great person.... is still great whether or not it was created that way originally! Never be ashamed of something nice because it doesn't have a pedigree! The best dogs, cars and people often don't have pedigrees! Man, I sure don't have one! Do you? LOL! Own what makes you happy whether a real Shelby, or a modified GT that flys and fits your budget!
You'd be amazed how little I have in the car below and it.... RUNS!
