thanks my main concern at first was how tight the filter was going to be since i seen a lot of people complaining that the dealership seems to tighten them to the point that you have the crush the filter just to unscrew it. but i was wrong it was actually easy to unscrew. i use a ziplock bag to prevent the oil from leaking all over. what you do is as soon as you loosen the filter and are able to turn it with you're hand, put the zip lock bag over it and completely turn the filter from outside the bag. and boom! mess free.

I like the trick of the ziplock bag. Never heard of that before. Then again, when I was learning how to change oil, we'd dump the used in the empty field next to the house. It came from the earth, we were just returning it. God, we were ignorant SOB's.

It makes me laugh how dumb we were back then. Times were different for sure.

I've been using Mobil 1 5W-50 since our local Napa carries it and run sales on it periodically.
This was great. Bought my Shelby a few months ago and after years of changing the oil on my Fox needed to see if this was going to be a pain or not. Looks straight forward and glad I can still use my ramps. Thanks!
