And this car is a Shelby GT500 KR it was purchased from the local dealership here in Vegas before his son got his hands on it and destroyed it the car made 753 hp on the Dyno Jets Dyno in Vegas... Shelby's shop is so backed up it's over six months to get your car in on anything major plus it's not going to be part of warranty and you pay lots of $$ to have their techs work on your car our best option is to pull the motor and ship it off put it back in ourselves & take away his sons Kmart tool set!!
The original was offered in 1968 with 2008/2009 being the only other two years a GT500KR was offered.

Shelley only works on their cars so the one post is correct back in the past they used to work on non Shelby cars..my buddy gave this car to his son he is the one that destroyed this motor first thing he was put 5.4 plugs in it which cross threaded the the heads in return drop metal shavings in the cylinder walls and if that wasn't bad enough he striped some bolts and decided to drill the bolt out and tap them while he had plugs out of the car there for metal shavings dropped into the cylinders and contaminate the motor. Who knows what else this kid has done but there is no way ford will warranty this it's his dumbass mistakes!! I'm just trying to help my buddy get his car back together he is a good guy.. his 23yr old kid 100% Dumbass..

Maby the kid put KR badges on it wouldn't put it past him a lot of people like to put it on their cars when it's really not KR.. to misrepresent I guess bottom line is its a gt500 with a 5.8 that's really what matters.. I'm just looking to help a buddy fix his car his son f...ed up..

Don't forget about the guy that installed a remote starter kit in his manual mustang (Even though EVERYONE told him not to) and ended up with his car in a pond from having left it in gear when someone hit the button.

OMG those two threads were painfully funny. Brand new 5.8 motor trashed, dude I cannot imagine. I would call John Lund or Justin at VMP and speak with them.
