No stock supercharger sound?? 2007 GT500

Just had a ride in a 2007 GT500. The owner has had it for about a week...~6k miles, gorgeous inside and out.

Strange thing that i noticed was a lack of supercharger noise...it has the KR axle backs but theyre not loud enough to drown out the whine.

What's missing here?

It pulls pretty hard...I assume it's working.

Any tips or insight would be appreciated!

Is this what theyre supposed to sound like stock??? My freinds is nowhere near this loud...

is this for real? if it wasnt working you would be down several hundred HP and it would be very noticeable. the only noise that matters is the noise of the tires screaming in protest due the loss or rubber that is occuring

As mentioned, it feels like its pulling pretty hard, therefore it must be working...
But why the hell wouldnt the scream of the blower be as obviuos in this car as it would be in others? Is there a mod required to let the shreik noise audible?

some are quieter than others, the noise means nothing, only the performance

I really do appreciate the feedback...but does anyone know why one stock car would be that much louder than another? That doesn't add up.

I really think videos of said car is required, both inside while driving, and under the hood footage.

If it has the same stock intake as mine had, that may be why you don't hear anything. The stock intake almost acts like a sound dampener. I replaced mine with the JLT carbon fiber intake and it got substantially louder.

Ah.......may have to pull the trigger on the Steeda package for intake-pulley-tune because I don't hear crap out of my blower either......and another 100+ ponies too......because!

The 07 tend to be more on the quite side but a pulley and a intake will get the "whine" you're looking for.
