2007 GT 500 Supercharge Pulley - Dyno Result!!
i am new on forum and don't want to make any mistake modify my car. I am new owner of 2007 GT 500 with already K&N Air Intake with Axle back exhaust.
i would like to add following:
- Metco Suerpcharger Pulley 2.60 in. (from American Muscle)
- Metco Pulley Kit - double bearing
- NGK V-Power Heat Range 6
- KBB 65mm BT
My question, would be:
- can factory clutch can take the extra power or i need to upgrade it?
- is it anything i should be concern? love my car and don't won't to jeorpardy motors/supercharge
Love to see feedback before making those upgrade
thanks and have a great day,
Claude

I am pretty sure you're fine with the clutch and pressure plate...
The Tremec TR6060 is rated at 600 ft-lbs. There is a Magnum version, rated at 700 ft-lbs.

You have a GT500, you're at 480 ft-lbs torque. You also have to take into consideration
what the internals can handle, which is 600 ft-lbs for your TR6060. I don't think you're going
upwards of +120 ft-lbs of torque with a pulley change, with a boost Increase of 3-5 PSI
with that pulley. Stage 2 pack, you're looking at, somewhere around 548 horsepower and 545 ft-lbs
torque, still not over the rating, but pushing it.
