Default What about Throttle Body for my 07 GT500

My GT500 will have following:
- K&N Air Intake
- Flowmaster back exhaust.
- Metco Suerpcharger Pulley 2.60 in. (from American Muscle)
- Metco Pulley Kit - double bearing
- NGK V-Power Heat Range 6

Would you change Throttle body? if yes, what would you pick BBK or Ford Performance?

First one shown does not include the drive motor assembly. If you bought that one, where would you get the drive motor? And, not clear if Throttle Position Sensor is included.

Second one includes drivemotor assembly, and definitely T.P.S., more money.

Do these units allow significantly more air flow? How do they compare to the factory T.B.? imp

Ported TBs s upport high horsepower builds by reducing air restrictions, and improves
throttle response. They do not ADD power they support it. If you have a stock
motor, stock intake, there's no point in it. Less restriction through the throttle body
in combination with a polished surface, helps cut down on any lag time for the air to
get moving when the accelerator is depressed.

Swapping the piece right away will positively impact throttle response which is felt instantaneously.
Even if your Mustang isn’t making any extra power at the moment, the increased throttle response is beneficial
nonetheless. Basically, adding an aftermarket throttle body before you even need it won't harm performance.
For this reason, it's recommended to acquire one earlier rather than later.
Do not go bigger than you need. A mildly modified or stock car does not have enough air flow to fully
benefit from the largest throttle body available, and consequently, can reduce throttle response. To
much of an instant air charge can bog it down for a second. Too large, it leans out the fuel mixture.

70mm for a naturally aspirated GT is fine, 78mm would lean it out.
90mm for a GT500 is fine, 95mm could lean it out.

YEAR & STOCK SIZE
1996-2004 GTs
65mm (The 1999 2V GT has a 66.8mm)
1996-2004 CobraTwin 57mm
1999-2004 V6 56mm
2005-2010 V6 68mm
2005-2010 GT Twin 55mm
2007-2014 GT500 Twin 60mm
2011-2018 80mm

A ported
throttle body is basically a support modification.

My 2007 V6 maxed out at just about 1200CFM at WOT. If I can obtain a ported unit, I will see
if that changes.
