07-09 front license plate options?
i know that many guys (including me right now) do not put a front plate.
however, technically it's required here and in many other states.
what are the options?
- i could go with the orig plate bracket and put it on w 3m tape?!
- possibly cut down the plate a bit and just zip tie it in center of the lower grille?!
have not seen that before, should not make much cooling difference during basic driving.
- don't want a bracket that is somehow attached below the bumper, it's already low enough to be careful at speed bumps, etc.
any suggestions?
what did you do?
pictures?
thanks.
ps, just added FR500S mufflers, wasn't the best fit but sounds great.

PA does not require a front plate, so I don't use one...
I think there are two indents where you are to drill for the bolts for the plate racket.
OR, get one of these:
You can set it up to retract the plate when you park, and then display it when
driving. There are the motorized (as seen), and manual ones...

I don't have a picture of it, but I simply used two SS self tapping screws at the top to attach the plate and frame to the bumper face, then used a piece of aluminum 1"x1"x1/8th angle with two holes drilled to match the lower two holes, fastened it to the lower edge with two more self tapping SS screws like the top, used plastic inserts for nuts ... then made two braces that go back under lip to bumper to support the lower edge.
The yellow is like a hidden view.
