Good morning, I am a new Mustang Forum member.

However I am from Canada and am currently looking for a special Mustang (Saleen or Shelby). I just found one and need a quick verification. It's a 2000 Mustang Saleen and the seller is listing it as a real Saleen. However the riveted plaque in the engine compartment looks a bit different from others I've seen on the net. Here is a picture of it, if you don't mind taking a look at it. Seller told me It's not his first Saleen and this car came with that specific plaque. He has complete documentation of the car.

I just want to confirm that information. Thank you so much in advance.

I'm looking to buy a 2001 Saleen S281.
It's a gray, manufactured 12/00
ID number is 01-187
Vin is 1F122572 on the plaque. 122572 for last 6 digits.

Can i also know what it might be worth? I checked NADA but it gave me a general value. it has 97k miles on the clock and needs new axles.
