ok, 2003 the mach 1 had the shaker system, correct? it was not until Late 2004 that Roush started to manufacture their own. By then it was the new body’s were already shipping in. Whoever gave them that # is a D.A. There were a few shakers out, but most are still in the Roush Collection. Within the past 2 years 98 calls were made to Roush Performance asking about the shaker system 3 of them were real Roush cars. What is the Vin of your stang?? Only 20 were made 2 REPORTED by AAA totaled. so 18, 4 of the cars were shipped overseas. 14. 10 are in the hand of Roush Performance/ Private collection of its company’s. Charlotte Ford owns another. so if you possibly have one of the 20 mustangs consider yourself very luck, and soon very rich. however I highly, highly doubt you have a true one.

WOW!! Thanks for all the info everyone!! I paid $21,500 for it. It has 6200 miles. I thought it was a good buy just for the mileage and that it looked cool. I had no idea what a Roush was until I started researching it after I bought it. Talk about dumb luck!!

Okay, 04MACH1DD, I just called the Roush company personally, and they confirmed with my VIN# that they did, in fact, put the Roush GT Shaker package on my car. Competition Orange was only made on the 2004 bodystyle, so if Roush provided numbers for that color, it had to be put on the '04 bodystyle. It is, in fact, 1 of 6 that were made. That's what I just said. They did make the GT Shaker in '04. If they show #s for Competition Orange is has to be on the '04 bodystyle. Hey, thanks again for the weblink. That was exactly what I was looking for.

Cherisa, may i suggest doing the following:
Call up Roush and request an information package for your car. This will run you ~$50, but will yield all documentation Rosuh owns for the car. I needed to do the same when everyone wouldn't believe prototypes were sold as production cars.

i would pay 45k for that. THEY REALLY MADE A MACH 1 WITH A SHAKER HOOD IN 2004? WOW didnt think they would do that. O wait i have one. We did not start producing them until 2004. Why do you think i asked for your VIN?
