I have not personally tried them but have heard good things. If I were to do cams I would do these or the comp cams. Yes, your saleen has the same motor as a base mustang GT so its a 3-valve motor.

Cams aren't too cheap but it depends if you want to do the valve springs with the cams. If you stay with a Stage 1 cam you shouldn't need springs according to most of the manufacturers. Not sure what everyone else on here has paid, but I would guess around the price of the cams themselves. So if you can pick up the cams for $600 just double it and thats what you'll spend around for parts and labor.

Lucky you have an 08. The 99-04 were a pain to install so shops would charge a lot more. If your pretty handy with cars you could install the LTs and mid pipe with a friend during an afternoon. If not expect to pay around $400 to have both installed. Plus another small fee to put the car on the dyno. Sometimes shops may quote you a little more but they will include a dyno pull. Just have to ask when shopping around for price. Where in Florida do you live?

My first recommendation would be Lamotta Performance in Casselberry which would be a good drive for you though. Just call around for pricing and give them a call. They might be more competitive which would make up for the drive and time.
