Default Plugs and Wiring Question

I have heard the best way to go with plugs is to stick to the stock Motorcrafts. My 2000 Saleen is blown, and I was wondering if it wouldn't be a good idea to go a stage colder. Motorcraft part number is AWSF32E. What would be the stage colder part number? Any guesses?

Would it be a good idea to kick up to better wiring at the same time? I hear Taylors are good?

TIA
