STARTING OVER
hey guys i've decided it's time for the old block to go.....that or the internals bore/stroker. anyways i need a place to start. i'll probably only be able to spend about 5 grand at a time ( i know its not a lot it could probably be more than that, it's just a general idea). i know i want to increase displacement.....4v heads....and...forged internals. i have the stock s/c on, w/o the chicane pulley, but i'll get that along with the 40lb injectors/fuel pump/filter. anyone want to give me a testimony from your "trial and error" brands? i'm more than willing to go top of the line on everything, and i don't want any used parts.

RE: STARTING OVER
jsaleen, First you need to figure out what you really want. If I understand correctly, you want to run 4V heads? The Saleenblower manifold will not bolt up to 4V heads. I am not trying to bust your chops, just helping.

RE: STARTING OVER
jsaleen, Let me know when you want to dothe rotating kit. I can give you a pretty good price on one of our kits. Our forged kits use all quality parts..cobra crank, h-beam rods with cap screw bolts, etc.If you would like soem more details, let me know.

RE: STARTING OVER
yeah, kenne bell or whipple.....can i even fit a whipple? i would go whipple over anything if it could fit it. but since it is my stock block, will putting 4v heads on give it basically the same set up as a cobra engine? or will the aftermarket heads make it different.

RE: STARTING OVER
I would call around and you might be able to find a cobra block pretty cheap with minimal use. (MAYBE) If not just go aftermarket. You should have no problem fitting the whipple. The older Saleens had whipple blowers on them.
