Default update on the heritage edition

According to the people we talked with today at the SCOA event you can order them in whatever color you want.

Also, the seats are nice. They have a white/silver stitch and a strip of suede down the center of the front and back seats. It looks good.

There was also a rumor of another version or two in the pipelines.

SCOA event eh? What did you guys do? Send a short write up and pics to Terry for the magazine, or PM/email to me and I can get them to Terry!

We just had a SCOA gathering as part of the big Shelby Spring Fling here in Nashville, IN - man what a fantastic weekend. I will post up a review with pics this weekend (getting ready to head out of town for work the whole week). We had 30+ Saleens in little ole' southern Indiana There were 20+ foxes, my S197 and even a new S331. We even got recognized as a serious club in contention for the Club Participation Award - we missed it by TWO members

Met at the Saleen store in Irvine. Drove to the Cars & Coffee car show. Then back to the Saleen store where they raffled off a jacket and then we competed on the S7 simulator. The best lap time won a pair of shoes.

All the while I suffered lower back pain and left after the S7 race (I think I placed 3rd?).

Dennis or Larry probably have some good pictures and more data for a good write up.

Answers to the above 2 questions can be found in here https://mustangforums.com/m_3162661/tm.htm

I think the H-281 will be around $42k

So its a PJ 302........without the 302. I can almost understand this model getting made, with so many loving the look that the PJ had. But why produce only 100? That's fewer than the PJ, and the performance isn't even comparible. Guess they had leftover body/interior parts left huh? They should just sell them thru the aftermarket for ppl who want to make their own PJ styled mustang.

Doesn't look bad. Looks alot better than a standard GT. It would be a great look for a future Ford made Boss mustang. I understand the opinions of the Saleen owners who don't feel it really fits the "Saleen" mold.....but really, neither did the PJ 302 edition. I just wish they would leave off the 1/4 window cover........it destroys the fastback look of the car. Too much unbroken color in the C pillar.

Nice to see as an option, as I don't like the quarter-window cover either. Too bad, that the cover will probably already be installed most of the time.
