Got to talkin with a dealer here in houston and they would do the X plan but was only offered 1,000 under msrp......hmmm. What do ya'll think? Been itchin for a neww 'leen since my 01

How much were you trying to spend? 1000 off msrp isn't enough IMO.

I'm eligible for X Plan and, to my knowledge, it doesn't apply to Saleens.
X Plan on a 2007 Mustang GT Premium Coupe is $1700 under MSRP and there are around $1700 Ford rebates on them.

Emailing the dealer and they are honoring the X plan...and then some...nice. Sent me the window sticker and noticed "California Emission System" What's that? More restrictive cats? Octane tune?

Just a thought here, but you can get a near-new Saleen for a really good price if you watch eBay. Near-new as in 1,000 - 2,000 miles, still under warranty, etc. Let someone else pay the "off the lot" depreciation and you reap the benefits. I wouldn't have considered this prior to purchasing Georgia, but will probably never buy new again because the experience buying her was so great.

I thought about that too. But just couldn't turn down the deal.:D got them down to 5k under MSRP. Well it's my second from them so I guess that helped.

That's a good deal and probably right near invoice from what I remember when negotiating my '06. That is of course unless for '07 they padded it more... but I doubt it.

Nah not jacked up anymore than msrp. I couldn't say 'No' :Dto this. Now I gotta start ordering the mods[&:]
