Default Saleen / Parnelli Jones

Hi all, new to the forum and have a cpl ?. After finding new 500 KR will be unavailable , to me at least I was at local dlr Galpin and saw they had a 07 Saleen / P.Jones limited prod. ( 500 ) that I thought was very nice. For about 60k$ (never thought those words would come out of my mouth !)Also I could get a 08 shelby gt 500 grbr orange, about the same $. That will be in in about a week or so. I have had a few early stangs (2-67 cps,2-68 cps,a 65 cp,and a 70 mach 1 ) but I know very little about the new ones. Anyone have info or thoughts on these ? THX very much for any input.

FYI - I looked a PJ this weekend that was on special - I believe it was around $52k.

I would second going to another dealer. Try Villa Ford in Orange, they have a PJ.

The engine has a blue printed forged stroked 302 putting out around 400HP NA.

Strap a Saleen blower on it and yourtalking crazy power .

It also has a watts link supension, smaller rims for the track, and the realsignatures of both Steve Saleen and Parnelli Jones!!!!!!

There were no options on the PJ cars.

You can download a spec sheet here.

Try Frank Morales at Villa Ford, 714-637-2124 -- last I talked to him he had two in stock.

PJ!!! It is by far a more enjoyable car than the GT500. I have driven just about every flavor of the S197, and the PJ is by far my favorite.
