Default Finally got the saleen to the track

well last night was the first night at the track with the saleen and I guess it was ok. Was a little dissapointed with the numbers though. I had 5 pretty consistant runs and i ran 3 13.3's and 2 13.4's or visa versa. My 60' foot was pretty consistant too with a best of 1.99. And finally my mph was just under 103. I thought my times would of been a little better but hey, i had fun. Thats all that really matters....

Did you run your car at sea level? You mph is directly indicative of you hp. If 103 is all she could muster, something is off. At sea level, your car should run at least 106 mph or more. Where were you shifting? Your 60' was good. Something seeks a little fishy somewhere.

I'm at sea level, i was shifting @ 5800. My 60' was pretty good cause i had BFG's on the back. Thats why i expected a little better ET. I know its a convertible but still.
here is 2 of my time slips. I circled my race number.

Good 60's. Nice runs except your mph is way down. I would say your car's tune is off some. It really should be pulling more mph. Did you you say you were the second owner on the car? (btw, nice r/t on the slower run)

Thanks for the thumbs up, hadnt been at the track in a long time. Felt good to get back.

I am the second owner. I bought the car with only 3000 miles on it. The previous owner had gears installed and had saleen update the flash for the gears. I have the pulley, fuel pump, ect waiting for me to install but i having decided about the tune yet. how you tune your car with the maf tuner and wide band gauge sounds like something i would like to try. but I am not looking to make this car a 1/4 car anyway but this car looks awesome and i want it to perform great too. The 13's feels like a me too thing.
