Per request from Boostin S281.....here are a couple of videos of my car (both inside and driveby). You can hear the supercharger whine in a couple of the videos. It's more of a whine than a whistle (I like the whine more than the whistle sound from the KBsupercharger...but that's just me).

Sounds good Evil, I forgot have you gone with an H pipe or any changes there? Are you running the Magnaflow exhaust? It sounds like my car that is why I was asking.

I think it's still the stock X pipe. One of these days I'm going to just jack up the car and look. I should've looked at it when I was changing the brakes. Exhaust is all the stock configuration at this point.

Anyone that wants to enlighten me again as to what they used stock in 2002....please do. I keep forgetting. Borla? Bassani? Magnaflow?

Man, Mine sounds nothing like that... All i hear is the damn exhaust... I have O/R h-pipe with stock borla catback and it's LOUDDDD... I'll probably put some cats back on... I love that sound. What was the major difference betwen seris I and II? Isn't it just the Blow off valve that they put on the outside or something?

Mine should sound like that then... right?

Also, how much different does the series IV sound? I'm going to upgrade my SC soon... I can get a KB i guess for 5k, or maybe a used series IV for 3 or so...

Yeah....if you're missing the cats I'm not surprised that's all you can hear! The series I and II difference was the integration of a bypass value. If you put the cats back on it might sound a little similar. I think i'm running an X pipe, though.

I'm not sure how the series IV sounds different. It's a different type of supercharger (twin screw vs roots). Does anyone have a video of a series IV they could post to help out? There are plenty of posts on youtube of KB superchargers.

yes... i heard KB's. I thought 99-02 or so came with stock h-pipe with 4 cats and borla catback... at least that's what mine came with...

I'll probably put the other h-pipe i have... it's a stock h-pipe with 2 cats removed so it has only 2 cats up front... Maybe that'll bring the SC sound back... I think exhaust is too damn loud...

NICE EVIL!!! The root style blowers will always be louder than the twin-screw applications. The T/S are more efficient though in how they deliver airflow into the manifold
