But the prices are way too high here,I looked for a Z-06 and they asked for $116,000,then a used one$92,000,so i tried a used saleen -E'06 $80,000,I tried a Gt500>$95,000,so i tried a Roush blackjack>$85,000,track-pak>$95,000, even a evo X is $46,000,i guess i'll have to continue with my TBSS until i can find something :-( well i sure miss my saleen.

My dealer out here.... AZ has a black GT500. I know if you were serious, you can pick it up for about 2K over sticker!

Dude where are you getting your prices? E cars can be had for less then that with just a few miles on them. You must be looking at brand new but why not take an 07 and get the original owner to take most of that depreciation that first year? On the GT 500's I know the prices are coming down and and even at new release I saw at most a 20-25K mark up that puts it at the 70-75K level. Never saw it hit 95k unless it was that absurd price that Barrett Jackson got for the first one.

Good luck and just keep looking you'll find one.

He's off the main land if I remember correctly so I'm sure there are all sorts of shipping and other licensing/certification fees to get it into his country :(

But damn, surely there is a better way to find a car in the US and have it delivered isn't there [&:]

I didn't realize that he was across the pond. My bad. Then I guess there is consideration of price at the level he is is looking at. But if I look at what he has owned in the past, unless his 401 k is in the tank (which today is not to far fetched) then he is not afraid to spend $$ from what it looks like on past ownership.

I'm not afraid to spend the money,if i know the car is worth it but these prices are way to high, i bought my s281s/c for $82,000, but it was brand new also i live in Puerto Rico and they charge taxes on the cars depending on weight,HP, and luxury ammenities, i had a SRT-10 ram that had $22,00 on taxes over the msrp!!!(i paid $72,000 for it)

If they charge taxes on HP and luxury amenities, i'd buy a 3v and put the supercharger on later!

Well then back to you then, because you have obviously had high perfromance cars and trucks in the past and it all comes down to what you believe to be an acceptable value of the car then. This site has several E owners and a few PJ owners and several more SC owners that will probably give you the honest truth on the likes and dislikes of the there particular model. You have also had a SC car as well so you know the performance of that car. Why not do what Evil said and buy a used 3 v non supercharge and then build it up? I would hope that a a supercharger andthe necessary build up would still be less then the car being bought new with all of those absurd taxes added to it. On Ebay there are cars now going for mid to High 30's with a SC and low 30's w/o. Granted they may be a 2 year old car but what does that matter since they haven't changed a lot in the 3 years they have been out (for the most part).

Good luck with what you do and it looks like you know and can appreciate high performance vehicles..

Peace.
