Default Cold Air and Throttle Body

I have talked to someone from Summit Racing and from Atomic Performance and they both contradict eachother. I would like to put cai and a 75mm throttle body on my 02 supercharged (Eaton) saleen but my problem is that the two techs I talked to both butt heads with eachother in saying that a regular 02 gt's cai would fit/not fit on my engine with my Eaton charger placed on top of course. So my question to all you geniuses is what kind (brand/style) of cai and throttle body would fit my engine given I have an Eaton on top. I didn't think it mattered but some disagreed. I'll include a picture of my engine bay. Thanks so much

Get whatever 75 mmTB you want. They bolt up the same to your Eaton as they would to a GT plenum. ACCUFAB looks great and is claimed to flow a little (and I do mean"little") better than others. But, the bore is mostly what counts (i.e. 75 mm)

The two differences in opinion for the CAI may be stemming from the amount of fabrication you have to do to the CAI to make it fit. You probably "could" make a standard GT CAI fit withsort of a shortened home-made elbow to attach it to the TB. The question is....do you really want to? Give JLT a call.....I think they make one specifically for your set-up. Others on here may be able to recommend an alternative.

Thanks for the info. What is a Boost-A-Pump if I may ask mills?

If I recall correctly, the Series I & II will take up to a 70mm t.b. I am sure with a little massaging (inlet tube), the 75mm will work fine. We can set you up with a chicane cia kit. It is designed for the series I & II models.

It's a unit that increases fuel pressure under heavy throttle load. I currently have a 255 lph (....at least I think that's what they put on Extremes )fuel pump that's aided by the Boost-A-Pump to keep the fuel coming. Without the Boost-A-Pump, the folks over at Modular Powerhouse said I was running out of fuel around 3000 RPMs when they were dyno tuning my car. This helps me avoid having to go with duel pumps or a larger (310 lph) SVT Focus Pump.

I dont beleive that JLT makes a CAI for the Series I and series II chargers. There were some folks on a board I was reading that were talking about that. You can always give them a call as well.
