Hi there, this goes to all the Saleen owners...

I raised my budget from$40k to $50k and im decided to go Saleen instead ofRoush or Shelby sinceI think Saleensare a piece of art with wheels on it.

I have $50k to spend and 20 days to buy and enclose the car and ship it to Europe and my question is...

What could i buy with that money (I want to buy new or less than 5.000 miles) Do you think it will be enough to go for a S281 SC ?

Im in love with the Performance white with chromed wheels combination.

You can definitely get one supercharged for 50K with very little or no miles on them. Look around on ebay, autotrader, cars.com, etc.

For 50k, he should be getting an Extreme!

You could always buy a N/A car and a supercharger kit unless you have your heart set on the car being SC'd from the factory. This option might help your 20 day time crunch.

Now with this info i know where to look and what price to pay,I dream of this car everyday, hope i can finaly drive it. How long did it take for you guysfrom the momentyou went to the dealer andcame out driving a Saleen?

Im wondering if there is any diference in the sound made by a Non SC saleen and a Supercharged Saleen, is there any? Can someone send me audio clips?

ive been shopping quite a while mostly ebay and there are some deals to be had, call colinger ford im not sure where they are but they had a few saleens on ebay a week or so ago and they quoted me a price of 52k for an 08 sc, that was almost 10k off i thought it was a great deal but then i found my 07 extreme for a few thousand more, the car was grey, new and from what the dealer told me perfect, go shopping!! they need to move product to make room for the 09 cars, and definitly go saleen i was looking at the same choices as you i think il be glad i did.

well i tried to deal with ron ward when i was looking for my car he was a gentleman to deal with but we were still far apart, as a matter of fact he has an 07 sc coupe new that could be had for around 48 or 49k but i still would rather have that 08 sc coup that i believe was at colinger ford if you could get it for 51 or 50k, any way you go good luck.
