Lol Amy.

Awesome. Good to see you and on top of that she comes back with the two best posts for the entire week.

The first one telling Jazz to return his new rotors because they haveholes in them.

You did, and its the only S7 with a dyno sheet to prove 1000+ HP. Tuned by JDM!

Is that why the owner returned it after it blew up ?

I love the cheesy SALEEN manufacturing plate on the firewall.

You'd think for a million dollar car thay could come up with something a LITTLE different than what they put on a Mustang.

Actually, the car did not "blow up", and the car has always belonged to Saleen. Some former employees that installed the engine failed to tighten the coolent hose and it came off during the test run. Nothing was damaged on the car and it was repaired the next morning. It was actually driven yesterday in Troy by a potential buyer. Sorry if your information was incorrect.

SCARY mistake on a $600,000 car.Maybe the new American Sunroof Company employees can keep those hose-clamps tight next time

Even the best run into mistakes, like failing crash certifications for low cost import cars right?

If you mean Brian Chambers special projects team and Chuck Kellys engine team who have been involved with Saleen for years when you speak of sunroof employees, then sure. I'm damn certain they can clamp a hose. Thanks for your interest!

If somebody buys that Oreca S7R they should be aware they are only buying the chassis that Oreca used. There are several obvious Oreca upgrades missing from that car and the livery isn't even correct. A collector would want those accurately represented otherwise it is just a S7R painted in Oreca colors. If Saleen are planning a swan song in ALMS they will need those upgrades, that are not apparent on the car Steve and person 'x' are testing in that other picture, to compete against Corvette Racing and Prodrive.

You mean the actual Oreca wasn't an automatic?? Well, that's just crazy! Why would someone want to race with a stick? [8D]
