00 425 SALEEN

So I went for a tune today after adding all the goods to the car. Tuner could n't add timing to the car
because my intercooler temps were 250F[:@]. My heat exchanger is kinda beat up so thats one problem.
The other problem is that my lines look like they have corrosion, so I'm gonna flush them out and replace
my tank and heat exchanger.

I want to change the pump too. I was just wondering if a Lightning or Cobra pump will fit my 00 Saleen?

I used the lightning pump on my 02. Picked it up new on ebay for around $80.

I saw them there. I just wasn't sure if a lighting or a cobra pump would work on my saleen.

how were you figuring out your heat exchanger temperature? Did you install a sensor? Also if you were on the dyno, did you have proper air flow (fans) ?

you do realize your ECT is your Engine Coolant Temperature. Has nothing to do with the Heat exchanger for the blower. That runs seperate. The heat exchanger runs a seperate coolant tank and goes thru the passages of the blower to help with ACT (Air ChargeTemperature).

Saleen offers an upgrade heat exchanger and the new GT500 pump and had built in fans on the backside of the heat exhanger. If you feel you need a new one, this is a great upgrade!
