situation is this the kb 9 psi kit intercooled is claimed to produce 431 rwhp with stock motor. Now the saleen v kit intercooled at 12 psi is claimed to produce 445 as advertised and sold as the s281 E, however u need a built motor. How is that possible? Anybody using the kb can share some light as to how there motor is holding at that boost level.. Why is the saleen v which makes approx 380-390 rwhp advertised as needing a built motor. Is kb just trying to make a sale? Who is telling the truth.

continued?? How come all u true saleen fans and owners are jumping ship to kb looks to me like there almost the same, just curious. Trying to make up my mind as to which supercharger i want to buy. My series iv is just not plain not what i expected, need a little more power. NOT here to bash kb.

Saleen is just trying to cover their ***. The series V blower is so capable of making huge boost, they don't want to be selling the unit to guys and having those people blow up their motor. Saleen insists that if you buy that blower, you need a forged bottom end. If you want to run 10-12 psi with the series V on a stock bottom end it would be fine, you would just need to have the tune be safe and correct. but, to cover their ***, Saleen insists you have a forged bottom end to use the series V.
