Default Roush vs. Saleen Help me!!!

Well I just lost my 08 Bullitt and I want somthing a little different. I can spend about 35k so honestly what should I get? I like the looks of both the saleen and roush, but I'm at the tricky price range were I kinda can't get a supercharged saleen but I could get a 427 or stage 3. Any opinions or advice?

thats how much I paid for my saleen sc. How do you just lose a mustang?

but definitely search around. I did for both models for months before I found the right one.

I personally like the Roush look myself, it just looks a bit meaner to me. Idk thats my take on it, both excellent cars.

Saleen is faster quicker and better cornering than both Roush (track pack, stage 1-3 blackjack etc) AND Shelby (Shelby GT CS6 GT500 Super Snake GT500 KR) for the money at all price points.

This is mainly because Saleen had a dedicated tuner JDM and is the best handling mustang out there from the base model (though one of the hardest to drive). For example if you get a used Saleen SC it will be cheaper than a used GT500 by enough that you will be able to upgrade it to Extreme spec and still have money.

If you're willing to install the JDM 500hp upgrade then here is a list of owners who will sell their cars for under 35k. A JDM 500hp Saleen SC will be faster than a Roush stage 3 and in every aspect:

be careful on those the second one is NA and the third is a gt with the saleen stuff put on. The first one seems legit. That reminds me, make sure you email saleen to see if it really is a legit saleen with an SC if it is advertised with one. While I was searching for one at the beginning of this year I came close to buying one that was said to be supercharged from the factory but really wasnt and one that was originally silver but painted black

Back to the original question:

Buying either a Saleen or Roush is strictly personal taste. I doubt you could find either owners complaining. Its just want floats your boat!!!

GOOD CATCH! I have been searching for a while (about 3 weeks) and thats the best deal I have seen on a saleen. Alright well I am kinda under the gun on the first one (thats the one im interested in) any buying tips before i start bidding on this thing? What should I go up to? I have read the buyers guide stickyed so I will go look up the NADA any help to make sure I don't f up would be great. Also I am gonna put about 5k down on my loan for the car and finance it for 72 months. this will keep my note where I can affoard it. Do these cars hold there resale value enough to make that an ok idea. Granted I do intend to make supplemental principal payments once i finish school but I am not takng that into acount as of now.

P.S. I lost me Bullitt in Hurricane Gustav he saw fit to drop a building on it. I will post pics tonight, it was only 4 months old. 11k on the spedo.

Since your looking at bargains. The Saleen owners can steer you towards Saleen bargains but as a Roush owner here's a good deal.
