why do people try to pass off cars as saleens even for sale cars?

I love this..
"This car is a Saleen EXTREME in every way!"
Ok, so where are the 15" front brakes? Forged Bottom end? Dual Fuel Pumps? Seats? Carbon Fiber Diffusers??

Exactly!! I was going to mention that. I bought an 08 convertible for the wife for our 25th Anniversary and we got her an SC because you couldn't get an auto in an E. If you could have, we'd have have gotten the E. Having said that, I can't imagine her liking any other car more than her SC. She just LOVES it!! Of course, I guess I could have gotten this E and had the auto for her. LOL.

"Your car is NOT an Extreme, and this listing is an outright lie."
Eric
Here was his email response:
"Thanks for your concern Eric, I believe that no where in my ad does it say that the car is authentic or that I picked it up from Saleen. As it stands I DO have over $60K into the car and it was modified by Saleen."
Chad
My response:
"Your ad says "Saleen Extreme" so you have a Mustang GT with a blower and some very nice mods. The "Extreme" has forged internals, upgraded seats, dash plaque, upgraded trans, rear gears, clutch, CAI and countless other goodies including serialized numbers for authenticity. You do what you want, but your ad is dishonest in the "Extreme"
