Default Two Saleen Questions

Does anyone know what rear end gears would be in a stock 2005 281 Saleen?
Also, is the hood that has the two vents like one below only found on the supercharged models?

The hood like mine is the SC hood. It isn't available on the S281 non-supercharged car unless you buy it aftermarket.

I'm not so sure but I think stock gears are 3.55's.

My buddy is looking at a 2005 original owner 281 with 20k miles in perfect condition for $23,500. Is this about right?

Price doesn't sound bad but what options does the car have?

Not sure about options because I don't know a lot about Saleen's other than it has 20" chrome wheels. What are some of the options it could have and I'll tell my friend to look for them.

Thanks

HID's
14" Brakes
Chrome Wheels or not.
5 spokes became an option later.

I'm sure there are more.

Print a brochure off the Saleen site then you'll have an options list to review. You'll probably find the '08 or '09 on their site, but still gives you a good idea.

Options for 2005 were the following:

14" Brakes
MaxGrip Differential
Wheel and Tire Upgrade (20x10 rear with 275/40/20 tires)
Chrome Wheels
HID Headlights
Optional Paint Colors
*Super Cooling Radiator was listed as an option but was never available that year.

3:73 gears were standard with an automatic transmission.

For downloadable versions of spec sheets, your friend might want to check here and get one for each year and model he is considering.
