I am assuming that the 08 Saleen Extreme is the most Powerful Production mustang ever produced.

The 2009 S302 S/C Press/Brochure car was sitting at a dealer in IN. It's not an E, but it does have the 302 motor and a one-year-only model.

Another dealer had a Rainbow S302 E Speedster, but I believe they sold it. There should be a source to see what is left in inventory.

I think I looked at a 2009 S281 S/C mid-range model that was number 11... I believe most of 2009 production was Racecraft models.

2009s will have the rarity and last-of-the-last on their side, but 2008s feature the traditional decal package and open headrests which might be a plus.


There's also the 2008 H302 S/C path... if you like the Heritage/PJ styling and one peg down from the S302 E in power numbers.


I think Theodore claimed the Dark Horse would be the most powerful in Saleen history. Since it has the S302 E motor tied to the SuperShaker induction. Marketing, eh.

Rich Ford had a Vapor glass top 2008 S302 E for a bit, not sure if they still have it.

There are those who would claim the Super Snake as being more powerfull - but that is a post-title conversion. If you are talking pre-title, off-the-showroom-floor, then yes, the 08/09 302Es win the numbers game...

There are still a couple of '08 Stirlings for sale, and a couple of '09 E's and DHs (plus an S302SC) for sale. The '09 S302SC is an interesting beast - number 1, and I would guess 1-of-1 - not sure why Saleen even produced an S302SC instead of an S302E - I would have thought that anyone in a market for one of these cars would pick the E every time...

I have yet to spot an '09 302 with bumper number past #9. I am really looking forward to getting the final word on the production numbers for '08/09, I have a feeling that there are *very* few 09s out there... As you can probably tell, I am watching the 08/09s pretty closely, so if anyone spots one, or knows of one, please let me know...

The Super Snake is not a production car. I believe all the new 08 Sterlings are now sold. There were 57 E's produced in 08 including the 25 sterlings and even fewer in 09, Not alot of E's to choose from in those 2 years.

Agreed - although the GT500 boys tend to say that Saleens are not production cars either... And the KR boys say that KR's are, and Supersnakes aren't, and so on...

R&H still have Stirling #8 listed

BullValleyFord listed Stirling #19 on eBay a week or so ago.

EDIT: I just saw from your profile that you are a KR owner - how do you like it? It was a pretty close call for me between the S302E and the KR...

R&H isn't a Ford dealer, did they get the sterling used. Bull Valley sold theres. So far The KR is a Great car, Best stock exhaust note I have ever heard on a factory car. Its a big improvement over my 07 GT500.

OK, so the last S302E that I know of is 2009 coupe #4 at Sansones ford. I wonder why the spoiler-delete?

Cloninger Ford has #04 listed still, which went up on eBay a couple of times.

Gullospeed has #09 listed as "order only", whatever that means.

Aside from those two and the #01 press car, I haven't spotted any other DH's. I have a feeling that there are *very* few DHs out there - I'm guessing that they didn't build the entire 25 or 30 that they had planned...
