I have a 02 torch red convertible. My top is black and I have black leather interior. Also, one of my options is the chrome rim option. I am thinking about scraping the chrome rims for some black saleen rims and then adding smoke headlight and tail light covers as well as changing my door stripes and lettering to black. Changing my saleen windshirld banner to black and then adding some black chrome saleen lettering to the bumper to make it all black and torch red. How do you think all that would look? I like the black and red look but i only see it on imports. I also feel i might be pushing the limits of a red car with so much black. Please give me you input.

I think it would look awesome. I am a big fan of two color schemes on American cars. Makes everything come together real nice. I know for the rims, since they are in fact chrome, we have to take them to a car shop that can demagnetize the chrome off or whatever. I tried to take them to a wheel shop and the only place that could strip the chrome off was about 50 miles away, so that was lame. Maybe I am mistaken though. Other than that I think it is not only pretty easy, but a very nice touch. At least then everything will come together as two colors, not a handful of them.

I like the black rims, lettering, and striping. Not a big fan of blacking out the lights.

ok well as some of you have read my past threads, I was in Iraq. My unit came home early and the guy who bought my acura integra hasn't taken delivery and so he told me i could use my old car until which is in June. I had most of my part on hand so I started installing them, while i still had another car to drive so heres an upddate then Ill go back to my color scheme change. sofar I have installed the

MGW short shifter, 8000K dual beam HIDs, seq. taillights, svt fuel pump, NGK spark plugs, accufab 75mm tb, 45lbs fuel injectors, shorty antenna, hood struts, cobra brakes on all four coners, lfp expansion tank, lfp heat exchanger, lfp radiator, saleen mirrored trunk panel, 3.73 gears

on May 8th should arrive my Bassani o/r X, mm lower control arms, frpp upper control arms, and a new saleen window banner

still on backorder is my order from chicane and that a 90mm rip kit, 66mm pulley, intercooler, ss intercooler lines i also have a 90mm maf on hand ready for my intake

ok now after that all being said i still have about $3,800 from my car play fund.
Im setting aside the 800 for a custom tune from pro dyno is sc and it will take roughly 1,000 to do the color scheme change i have mentioned. I would really love to add cams but im not sure what yet and if its such a smart idea. so Im looking at ordering the rims and stickers and blackouts this friday once everything is finished ill have up pictures, sound clip, and dyno run videos and dyno print out if you have any comments about the cams please tell me cause im lost. thanks everyone
