hey everyone
I just picked up a mint 05 saleen from an older gentleman who didnt drive it very much. It has 20k miles on it and I got it cheaper than a used GT. Im from tallahassee Fl and go to FSU, just wanted to get on here and say whats up!

I poked around the site a bit but still have a few un answered questions.

offroad x pipe (magnaflow) with our stock axleback? good or bad idea?
I have a steeda intake with tube on the way, and a tune setup with a local guy Jaws racing.

any advice is welcome!

Congrats.. beautiful car. Welcome to the crew. The Saleen mufflers do not sound good with the o/r x pipe and stock manifolds. However they do sound good with the off road h pipe. Both sound good with after market headers.

nice car and color. Ive also heard x pipes dont sound that well with actually any 05+ mustang. unless its matched up with some LTs and probably catted. I have an OR H right now and sounds pretty good. It does trumpet at certain RPMs but I believe high flow cats or resonators will solve that problem. I have JBA LTs waiting to be installed.

Congrats on the car. I would stick with an H-Pipe. If you really want the X I would consider LT or keep the cats.
