Default Saleen s/c Question

All how own or know about the 2001 saleen serise two rotary s/c, pleace I need info. I have a 01 GT, I put the s/c on 3 years a go. When I buit it from saleen, I tolded them I wanted max boost that the motor would take. They told me 10psi in max for the motor and the s/c. Is that true? The motor I know but what about the s/c. My problem is When I had the s/c installed 3 years ago I remeber the boost gauge reading 10psi but know it only gose to 9psi in second gear, in third gear it max is 8psi, in forthy gear it max is 7.8psi, fivethy gear max is 7.25psi I do not no what sixthy is. Is that norrmal or not? It is a roots s/c shouldent it make like 7psi at 2,500rmp and go up from there, like the KB and Whipple? Right now it make 3psi at 2,500 and slowly gose up from there. It is acting like a centrifagul s/c. Is that what Saleen s/c dose or is something not right? HELP PLEACE

Thanks

no that roots s/c sucks sweaty mexican *****. i got one and yes 10psi is the max it can safely handle. i have a friend with a GTP that has the same s/c we do and we put a 16psi pulley on it and it melted the intake manifold

Dose you're saleen s/c acted like mine? Dose it acted like centrifagul s/c. I'm tring to see if it has a problem or not.
I was going to buy a 04 Cobra motor with the Whipple s/c 15psi but I just do not have the money right now to spend $20,000 on the setup. So I just need info to make shore the s/c is right before I dyno tune it this fall?
I do not know if not being tuned right is messing up the s/c or is it the s/c it self?

Thanks

i think these s/c just suck cuz mine is really pissing me off. it makes all kinda of noise but doesnt seem to pull as hard as it should. i mean yeah its quick and i spent 1300 on a tune and lost about 35 whp but gained insane torque. here what id do if i were you. id sell that series 2 and swap back to a PI manifold and use like a paxton novi 2000 or a vortech s-trim. im going to switch to a autorotor (whipple) s/c as soon as possible
