Default Saleen car bra

I need a car bra for my 2002 Saleen. Ordered one from Saleen and it was said to be in stock and ship from an external warehouse 2 weeks ago. Called them friday and "oh, we're sorry, it never shipped, it must have been out of stock.", real nice service, when they specifically called the warehouse and confirmed stock, wtf happened then. argh, what a beat down.

Anybody know where else i can get one asap?

^+1....I would try going on ebay and emailing the seller for Saleen. He is the main point of contact for selling Saleen goods on ebay. He might be able to help.

Blue painters tape is your friend. Use it on all of the leading edges of the hood, bumper cover and fender corners. You will look like a weekend warrior raceway kook but who cares. It's cheap and will do the job. The bra will just flap the paint off your bumper cover lower corners anyway.

Get a clear bra. I have one. Love it!!!! It works great and you cant tell its on the car unless you look up close. More expensive but worth it, imo.

I have a clear bra on my Liztick Red car. It's better than nothing-- quite good, in fact-- but cannot provide the same level of protection as a standard bra. After all, you're comparing a 4-mil plastic film to cloth-back vinyl that's hundreds of times thicker. Personally I use the standard bra for highway trips and let the clear bra do the easy lifting around town.

I investigated Armor Coat when I got my car but the only local installer said he only used it for RVs and didn't feel comfortable putting it on top of custom paint.
