Im new to this site but this is an odd yet frustrating issue. I have a 2000 Saleen S281. Less than a year ago i had this issue. i would notice a puddle of oil after driving on the inside of the crank pulley. It progressively got worse to the point it was spraying oil all under my hood and under car. As it got worse it also depleted the oil levels on a weekly basis and it would spray a line of oil on the ground wherever i would stop since it was falling on the pulleys. My friend who is a pretty experianced mechanic figured it was the seal behind the crank pulley so he replaced that which was a pain and it seemed to resolve the issue.

6-8 months later present i noticed about a month ago a small puddle again. i thought maybe it was some left over oil residue but over the month its gotten worse and the puddle is spraying oil all over the place again. Why in less than a year is this happening again???? Please help. This is my only car and money is low lately.
