Default Building a BOSS, Sorta

So I have a 2012 GT that I have put the BOSS grill, front facia, and rear diffuser on, as well as the BOSS intake and tower brace. I love the stripes and I am considering adding them, My question is is there a way to get around people thinking that i am trying to make it a clone? I am not trying to make it a clone.(BOSS with a premium pkg. lol)
Thoughts?

Best bet is just don't put Boss 302 on the stripes.

If you are putting all the BOSS parts on it, you are building a clone whether you say you are or not.

I don't see a problem with this, its all appearance. If your not sticking BOSS badges all over your car then who cares? Purists may be mad, but you are clearly not passing it off as a BOSS. If in your head, you have a mental image of the car looking like a BOSS then more power to you my friend. People do this all the time. No flaming gets started until people start re badging.

The are no Boss badges on the car, the only place it says Boss 302 is on the side stickers and the seats/dashboard/manifold.

Concur.

But avoiding the stripes would help.

IMHO, body parts are cool... just not the "Boss 302" stripes. It's a wanna be clone at that point.

They have similar stripes that go around the 5.0 badge. Make the car how you want it, you bought it, who cares what other people say. People make clones of cars all the time, look at the Eleanor's, Old Boss 302's, Old Shelby's, Saleen's and others. Just beware that they don't bring the money as the originals. Unless people want to pay outrageous prices on a "Gone in 60 Seconds" clone car.
