Unhappy Roush Rear Window Louver clamps broken

Hey all, this is my first post, sorry if it's the wrong section. I've had my car for about 3 years now, and I had the Roush Rear Window Louvers installed when I bought it. However, they did a terrible job installing them, because the adhesive pads that the clamps are attached to came loose. Over the years, I've just been reattaching them myself. However, the last time they popped off, the clamps unsnapped, and both of the clamp assemblies went bye-bye. I really need to re-secure my louvers, for obvious reasons. I checked the Roush website, but it's about as worthless as can be. Not only is it terribly laid out, but it seems that they have no information on their own product, other than the one article introducing them. I don't know what the deal is with that, but whatever. Anyways, I was wondering if anyone out there could direct me somewhere I could buy replacement clamps. If not, then some advice on a DIY-sorta solution would be great. I was thinking of buying some thin metal pads and welding on a nut in the center of each one, so that I can just use screws to hold the louvers in place.

Anyways, if anyone's got something for me, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Love and Respect,
manic

Call Roush Performance. 800-59-ROUSH I think. I would start there.

xkrape, thanks for the info. I contacted Roush. They said they we're supplied the louvers by MRT. After reviewing their website, I found not only the louvers, but a replacement hardware kit for them for about $60. That's a little bit more expensive that than DIY repair idea I had, but I'll get piece of mind knowing I got exactly what I needed.

When you reattach, please be sure to get an adhesion promoter so they will stay put.

@kenthicken- thanks for advice. I'll look into getting some of that too. I really want to make sure they stay on this time around. I don't want to deal with this situation again.
